I have to confess: although I try to buy as much as possible second hand (in case you missed it, check out my Huffington Post article on the subject), there are some things that I buy new. Underwear comes to mind!
I really hope this blog encourages people to experiment with Found Fashion, but I also urge you to shop smart when you do buy new items.

Furniture! Our entire home is (nicely) decorated with mostly used furniture.
My cats. They are all used animals, and they are the bestest and mostest in the whole universe. Three were abandoned, one was one kitty death row…a real second-hand bargain. Thank the gods I don't get me a hankering to go thrifing at animal shelters…

Just one thing?? Most everything I own has had a previous life, and I have never purchased a new car.
well, on my trip to goodwill today I acquired a tank top, sun dress, pair of pants, and a metal pail to collect weeds in. I'm finding pleasure in the hunt for used goods more and more!
